Information we collect

When you request a quote, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, city, ZIP code, project description, preferred contact method, urgency, property type, and photos you choose to upload.

When available, we may also record the page where a request was submitted, referring website, and campaign parameters such as UTM source, medium, or campaign. We use this information to understand how customers find our website and which marketing or service pages are useful.

How we use it

We use this information to review your project, prepare or discuss a quote, communicate with you, schedule work, maintain service records, understand request sources, and improve our handyman services.

Photos and project information

Photos submitted with a quote request are stored privately and are intended for estimating, planning, and documenting the requested work. Customer-submitted photos are not published as portfolio or project-gallery content unless they are separately approved for publication.

Payments

If online payment is offered, payment checkout is processed by Stripe. Handyman Virginia Beach records invoice and payment status information needed for billing and reconciliation, but the HM-VB website does not collect or store your full card number in its application database.

Sharing and service providers

We do not sell customer information. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate the website, database, hosting, communications, scheduling, or payment systems as needed to provide those services.

Retention and security

We keep information only as reasonably needed for business, service, recordkeeping, and legal purposes and use access controls intended to protect customer data. Administrative areas and customer project photos are restricted from public access.

Your choices

You may contact us to request correction or deletion of information associated with your quote request, subject to records we may need to retain for legitimate business, payment, tax, dispute, or legal purposes.
